Unlike most other natural drugs, Salvinorin A doesn’t contain a basic nitrogen atom and hence the component is not an alkaloid. The chemistry of Salvia Divinorum is in such a manner that its component does give a negative reaction on urine tests. This unique quality makes it incomparable with any other drug.
